The T'au Empire Broadside Battlesuit (XV88) is the mobile artillery of the T'au army and one of the heaviest battlesuits in their arsenal. It is designed to take down armored threats and dense infantry formations with devastating firepower.

💥 Broadside Battlesuit – Overview

The Broadside is a slower but much more heavily armored version of the more maneuverable Crisis Suits. It is built to absorb punishment and provide massive "anti-tank" or "anti-monster" fire.

  • Role: Heavy support, anti-tank (Anti-Tank/Anti-Monster).

  • Main Characteristics: Usually carries extremely large, back-mounted weapons.

🎯 Weapon options (from the set)

The kit is highly flexible and allows you to build the Broadside with two main weapon configurations:

1. Heavy Rail Rifle (HRR)

  • Function: This is the standard weapon and is primarily for anti-tank.

  • Effect: Fires kinetic projectiles at tremendous velocity, designed to penetrate the thickest armor plates with ease. Giving the model excellent range and punch against enemy vehicles and large monsters.

2. High-Yield Missile Pods (HYMP)

  • Function: Often used to combat heavy infantry or a wide range of threats.

  • Effect: Fires a large volume of explosive missiles. This gives the Broadside excellent clearing ability against groups of enemies, while still being dangerous against lighter armor.

Secondary Weapons and Systems

In addition to the main weapon, the Broadside is equipped with a pair of arm-mounted weapons, usually:

  • Smart Missile Systems (SMS): These missiles can fire beyond the line of sight ( indirect fire ) and are very effective against enemies hiding behind terrain.

  • Missile Pods: Multiple missiles to increase overall firepower.

You can also equip it with Support Systems (like a Target Lock or Stabilization System ) to improve accuracy or mobility.

💡 Drones

The Broadside Battlesuit usually comes with attachments for two drones, often Missile Drones to increase the number of missiles fired, or Shield Drones for extra protection.
