Harry Potter

Harry Potter is the protagonist of a series of fantasy books written by J.K. Rowling, which follows a young wizard's struggle against dark forces in a magical world.

The Harry Potter series consists of seven books, beginning with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone , published in 1997. Harry is an orphan boy who, on his eleventh birthday, learns that he is a wizard and enrolls at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There, he befriends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, and together they experience magical adventures and dangers.

Throughout the series, Harry learns about his past, his connection to the evil wizard Lord Voldemort , and his role in the struggle between good and evil. Each book covers one school year and builds towards a dramatic conclusion in which Harry must face new challenges and enemies.

The books have sold over 500 million copies and have been translated into more than 80 languages . They have also been adapted into eight blockbuster films starring Daniel Radcliffe, and have created a huge universe of spin-off films, plays, games and theme parks.

Harry Potter has become a cultural phenomenon and inspired generations with its mix of magic, friendship, courage and growing up.
