Mega Man
Mega Man is a classic video game character from Capcom, known as a blue robot hero who fights evil robots and saves the world.
Mega Man, originally known as Rockman in Japan, debuted in 1987 on the Nintendo Entertainment System. He was created by Dr. Light as a helpful robot named Rock, but was transformed into a fighting robot when Dr. Wily began using robots for evil purposes. With his iconic Mega Buster cannon and the ability to copy enemies' weapons, Mega Man takes on Wily and his army of Robot Masters.
The game series has grown to over 50 titles and has sold more than 43 million copies across consoles and generations. It has also inspired comics, television series, and toys , and Mega Man has become one of Capcom's most recognizable characters.
The character is known as The Blue Bomber and has had several versions over the years, including Mega Man X , Mega Man Zero , and Mega Man Battle Network , which expand the universe with new characters and stories.
